Well Abigail is now 2 months old. She is growing so quickly. She now weighs 9# 2.5 oz and is 21 inches long. It is so fun to watch her grow and develop. She tracks things with her eyes and smiles and the sound of familiar voices.
We took a trip down to Colorado Springs to meet with our old friends. Well they are not old, we just have been friends for a long time. :-) We all got together to meet Abigail, what a party it was. We all had a great time.

Dedication
9/5/2010 we formally dedicated Abigail to the Lord. (We did as a family on 8/23 at ~2:32 am)
Here is the "Transcript"
This is Abigail Joy. Want to say hi to everybody? (she waves)
How old is Abigail (13 days)
Here at Calvary Chapel we believe that everyone has a choice and that choice is "What are we going to do with Jesus". "Where are we going to be at in regards to Him in our lives". And because we believe that everyone has that choice that God gives us we don't do infant baptisms. We don't believe she is able to make that choice at this point. But we also believe that the Holy Spirit is in work in everyones lives. And so we want to dedicate this little one to the Lord and ask to Him to just be in work in her life and her parents lives in a mighty way.
So lets pray together
"Father God we are so grateful for the miracle of new life and we are so grateful especially for this little one for Abigail Joy, her name means fathers joy so she is daddy's joy joy, so Father we lift her up to you we pray for your grace upon her Father that our grace would shower upon every day of her life. Thank you for her being healthy. Thank you Father God that you love her more than her parents do more than we can possibly even imagine. And we we pray Father, Lord that you would strengthen her that she would be growing up strong in You. Father that you would be developing her mind, Lord God gifting her for those things You want her to be able to do and to show Your glory through Lord God. I pray that at the earliest possible age Father that You would draw her to Yourself that she would come into personal relationship with You. And Father that You would reveal yourself to her, that she would know You personally and through Your word. I pray for Jeremiah and Carole. I pray for your strength on them, I pray for healing, I pray for sleep at night Father God. And we pray Lord that you would fill their home with your peace and that you would lead them and that you would be their strength. We thank you Father, in Jesus Name Amen.

Sterling's Visit
Great Grandpa Approves, (like there was ever any doubt.)
While we were at their house we had our first feeding away from home. It was quite the adventure, managing the cover, a fussy baby, and everything else that was going on. Abigail was satisfied after feeding, although it only lasted for 30 minutes. :-)

Apatites
Well it might be official. Abigail has Jeremiah's apatite and Carole's frequency. She is eating 3+ oz of food every hour to two hours all day long. She wants to grow big and strong, I just hope Carole and I can keep up on sleep and supply. I guess the all you can eat buffets are not too far away . :-)

Mom and baby after a hard night of pushing
She was born at 2:22 this morning 8/23/2010, after 26 hours of labor. She weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces, and was 19.25 inches long. All went well, mom, dad and baby are doing great, just a bit tired.
