Dedication

9/5/2010 we formally dedicated Abigail to the Lord.  (We did as a family on 8/23 at ~2:32 am)

Here is the "Transcript"
This is Abigail Joy.  Want to say hi to everybody? (she waves)
How old is Abigail (13 days)
Here at Calvary Chapel we believe that everyone has a choice and that choice is "What are we going to do with Jesus".  "Where are we going to be at in regards to Him in our lives". And because we believe that everyone has that choice that God gives us we don't do infant baptisms.   We don't believe she is able to make that choice at this point.  But we also believe that the Holy Spirit is in work in everyones lives.  And so we want to dedicate this little one to the Lord and ask to Him to just be in work in her life and her parents lives in a mighty way.

So lets pray together

"Father God we are so grateful for the miracle of new life and we are so grateful especially for this little one for Abigail Joy, her name means fathers joy so she is daddy's joy joy, so Father we lift her up to you we pray for your grace upon her Father that our grace would shower upon every day of her life.  Thank you for her being healthy.  Thank you Father God that you love her more than her parents do more than we can possibly even imagine.  And we we pray Father, Lord that you would strengthen her that she would be growing up strong in You.  Father that you would be developing her mind, Lord God gifting her for those things You want her to be able to do and to show Your glory through Lord God.  I pray that at the earliest possible age Father that You would draw her to Yourself that she would come into personal relationship with You.  And Father that You would reveal yourself to her, that she would know You  personally and through Your word.  I pray for Jeremiah and Carole.  I pray for your strength on them, I pray for healing, I pray for sleep at night Father God.  And we pray Lord that you would fill their home with your peace and that you would lead them and that you would be their strength.  We thank you Father, in Jesus Name Amen.
